Everybody's Hometown Hostess

Updated: Feb 5

Welcome to the Hometown Hostess Blog! I'm so glad you're here!

"The heart of hospitality is about creating space for someone to feel seen, heard and loved." ~Shauna Neiquist

Hello there! I'm Celina Brandt, your Hometown Hostess, and I'm absolutely delighted to welcome you here!

My family and I are blessed to call ourselves Prescottonians, and live in the heart of Arizona's charming mile-high city, Prescott. Affectionately known by the locals as "Everybody's Hometown", every historic street tells a story, and the warmth of hospitality fills the air. It's a town for all seasons, where the spirit of community thrives, and the locals embrace their unique brand of Midwestern friendliness meets South Western grit. Every day holds something special, and the locals certainly know how to celebrate in style – especially during my favorite time of the year, Christmas! The town comes alive with enchanting decorations and a festive spirit that truly captivates the essence of the season. Here, amidst the picturesque pines, and neighborly personalities, I've cultivated a love for creating community, and hosting festive gatherings, often earning me the moniker of Prescott's "hostess with the mostest", which is where my idea for Hometown Hostess, LLC was born!

A Little About Me

I'm a devoted Christian, wife to my incredible husband Chris of nearly 20 years, and the proud homeschooling mama of four amazing kids who bring boundless joy and energy into our home. Our days are filled with the delightful chaos of tweens and teens, shuttling them to various activities and soaking up the vibrant experiences of our homeschool and church communities.

An Honors graduate of Biola University with a degree in Organizational Leadership, I started my career in the world of event consulting, specializing in working with Christian Non-Profit organizations. Over the past two decades, I've honed my professional expertise in entertaining, event planning, and design. One of my core values both professionally and personally is a heartfelt dedication to infusing the art of hospitality into life's most special moments.

For me, true hospitality is about creating an atmosphere where others feel welcomed, loved, and truly seen. This sentiment guides my work as I craft beautiful parties, curate decor for special occasions, and design interiors that radiate the essence of home. At Hometown Hostess, I channel my talents and passion into transforming gatherings into cherished memories.

Me, in New York City at the Walter Kerr Theater on Broadway last fall! A dream come true!

"Creating a life giving table is an act of intentional gathering, blessing, eating, sharing, and serving ~ Sally Clarkson

It's All in the Details

Whether it's the careful curation of a party, the thoughtful arrangement of decor, or the creation of inviting interiors, I'm here to guide you in making life's special moments more memorable. I find immense joy in sharing my knowledge and expertise, teaching others how to elevate their homes, explore their creativity through crafting, and effortlessly entertain.

So, come on in, sit a spell, and let's be friends! Grab that cozy mug filled with your favorite beverage, and follow along to learn about how we can transform your celebrations into unforgettable memories and your spaces into inviting works of art.

Let's create something beautiful together!

Warmly,

Celina

My friend and I attended a “crafting brunch”. On October 5. We paid $50 each for a miniature pumpkin, small pedestal and foliage. There was no brunch, only pastries cut up. The picture on her flyer did not depict a miniature arrangement, so we were extremely disappointed in what she was offering and felt it was a complete ripoff. After picking up the pedestal and base, we felt so taken advantage of that we left. I requested a refund, minus the cost of the materials, and was denied a refund. Don’t pay in advance for her classes because what is advertised is not what you will get!
